MAKING BREAD IN OVEN

  1. Place bread mix and yeast into a bowl fitted with a hook attachment and mix for 30 seconds to incorporate on low speed.
  2. Start slowly adding the water until the dough is formed
  3. Continue mixing on low speed for 3 minutes ensuring the consistency is neither to wet nor dry
  4. Increase the mixer speed (if possible) to medium and mix the dough for a further 10 minutes, if mixer cannot be increased allow for a slightly longer mixing time.
  5. Once the dough is fully formed and well developed remove from the bowl
  6. Place the dough on a well-floured surface and roll into a ball and cover with a moist tea towel
  7. Allow the dough to test for 10 minutes
  8. Cut the dough into desired size pieces and roll in balls, cover and rest for a further 10 minutes
  9. Take the dough pieces and shape them into the tins or trays (ensure tins are greased)
  10. Cover and allow the dough to rise for approximately 40 minutes or until 1/3 of its original size
  11. Place the dough into a pre heated oven set at 220 degrees Celsius and bake for 40 minutes or until well baked.
  12. Remove from oven and place onto a rack to cool.

USING BREAD MIX IN A BREAD MAKER

Place yeast first, flour then water and set to desired settings.
